Community Access and Centre Based Activities

BB Disability & Health Services has a host of friendly and trained staff members who have extensive knowledge of local and regional and nationwide social and recreational activities/ programmes/ events.

Our Supports are:

Supports to improve social engagement skills such as friendship groups
Fun and recreation-Walk and talk, fishing, bowling, community gardening
Health and Fitness: Support to attend the gym, yoga/meditation, swimming, gentle exercises groups, heart move walking groups
Practical supports: Our staff provide support to do shopping, banking, cooking
Life Skills: Develop skills for coping with stress, taking medication, improving social skills, developing basic computer skills.
Or ....If you feel like getting out for a coffee, want to watch ocean waves….We are here to help.
BB Disability runs a day centre-based activity Monday- Friday 9 am - 2 pm. Our friendly and trained staff members run the group activities. The lunch is provided at a subsidised cost. Coffee and snacks are available free of cost. Just drop in and have a good time.
