Psychosocial Recovery Coaching in Kiama

When mental health starts affecting everyday things, it’s not always obvious what kind of support would actually help. That’s what we’re here for. We help you work through your NDIS plan, lean into your strengths and take real, practical steps toward the life you’re hoping to build. In Kiama, we do that with care, patience and respect for whatever pace feels right for you.

We’re BB Disability & Mental Health Services, based in Dapto. Our team’s experience runs across disability, mental health and social work, and we bring that into every conversation we have with people in Kiama, the Illawarra and the Shoalhaven.

Maybe things feel overwhelming right now, or a bit disconnected, or you’re just not sure how to move forward after a hard stretch. Maybe you’ve got goals but no idea where to start, or maybe you just want life to feel a little more manageable. You don’t need a plan before you reach out. We’ll simply start with what’s happening for you today.

What Might Your Weeks With Us Actually Look Like?

What Might Your Weeks With Us Actually Look Like

Recovery isn’t one thing. It might mean finding your footing again, feeling steadier in daily life, or slowly reconnecting with people and things that matter to you. None of it has to happen all at once, and that’s exactly the point.

A Few Things That Could Be Part of It

  • We check in, gently: We talk about how things have been, what’s taking up your energy, and what might help you feel more settled this week.
  • We help ease the little things: A phone call, a letter, an upcoming appointment, whatever’s piling up, we work through it with you.
  • We build calm, steady confidence: Meals, sleep, appointments, even leaving the house, we work on the routines that make daily life feel more possible.
  • We hold space for what matters: Independence, relationships, community, the future you’re working toward, we help you take real steps in that direction.

Just so it’s clear, Recovery Coaching isn’t psychology, counselling or medical treatment. It’s NDIS support focused on your everyday life and the practical steps that help you move forward. Whenever you’re ready, say hello or send a referral, and we’ll start from there.
